<h2><strong><span style="color: #a51c30;">Shastri Indo Canadian Institute (SICI) Lecture Series&nbsp;</span></strong></h2>
<p>Department of Chemical Engineering, organized the Shastri Indo Canadian Institute (SICI) sponsored Indo-Canadian Research Lecture series on &ldquo;<strong>Decoding the Next Decade's Clean Energy and Sustainability Conundrums</strong>&rdquo; as awardees of Shastri Conference and Lecture Series Grant (SCLSG) 2023-24 from SICI. The event was scheduled on <u>28-29 March 2024</u>.</p>
<p>The Lecture Series hosted distinguished guest speakers from Indian and Canadian institutes. The invited speakers were Prof. Raja Sengupta (McGill University, Canada), Prof. Deepak Kunzru (ex. professor IIT Kanpur, now Dean, Ahmadabad Technical University), Prof. Dibakar Rakshit (Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Delhi), and Dr. Vinod Kumar Shahi (Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar).&nbsp;</p>

<h2><span style="color: #a51c30;"><strong>International Conference on Oil and Gas for Energy Security 2024 (ICOGES-2024)</strong></span></h2>
<p><strong>Department of Petroleum Engineering organised International Conference ICOGES 2024 on 16-17 February 2024. </strong>It was inaugurated by esteemed individuals from the energy sector, academia, and various industries to deliberate on the critical theme of "Ensuring Energy Security" and explore avenues for sustainable and competitive energy prices in the ever-evolving energy landscape.</p>
<p>The ICOGES 2024 is a testament to our commitment to fostering meaningful discussions and collaborations in the field of energy. We believe that ensuring energy security is of paramount importance, especially given the challenges posed by a growing global population.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong><span style="color: #a51c30;">1st International Symposium on Battery Technology: Advances and Future Trends</span></strong></h2>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">A symposium on &ldquo;Battery Technology: Advances and Future Trends&rdquo; was organised on 19-21 Jan, 2024 in association with McMaster University, Toronto Metropolitan University and Yalova University. It provided an up-to-date overview of the advancements in battery technology, focusing on recent developments, ongoing trends, and potential future directions. The symposium aimed to present a comprehensive analysis of the latest innovations in Battery Technology on all the fronts: Materials, Condition monitoring, Safety, Environmental aspects, Cooling technologies, battery chemistry, etc.&nbsp;</span></p>
