A candidate should have secured a rank in Paper – 1 of JEE (Mains) 2025.

Eligibility

For B.A. (Hons.)/B.B.A. (Hons.) - A candidate is required to have passed 12th standard examination or equivalent from any discipline.

For B.Com./B.A. (Hons.) - A candidate is required to have passed 12th standard examination or equivalent from Commerce stream or should have studied accounting and/or commerce related subjects in 12th standard.

Merit Reckoning and Selection Procedure

Written Test and Personal Interview (Off-line):

A common merit will be generated, based on the rank obtained from the evaluation of the process and preference given by the candidate in the application form. The candidate has to appear for all the three components as mentioned in the below table to qualify for the Merit List.

* There will be no negative marking.

* Statement of Purpose is to be submitted in the application form.

* The candidates must produce all certificates (if any) for achievements in co-curricular and sports at the time of Interview if asked by the panelists.

* The NRI candidate who have passed their 12th standard from any schools outside India but is an Indian citizens/Indian passport holder is required to appear for our mandatory SLS Admission process – on-line Aptitude Test (as mentioned in the above table). If the candidate has taken SAT exam then he/she can submit the SAT Score of the exam (taken by him/her between 1st April 2024 and 30th April 2025) in the application form and also have to appear for our mandatory SLS Admission process – on-line Aptitude Test (as mentioned in the above table) where in, best of two would be considered. However, all such candidates will have to appear for Personal Interview conducted by SLS, PDEU.

Submissions:
Last date for the Submission of SAT score would be as per last date of application form - Thursday, 22nd May, 2025 and the schedule for the Personal Interview would be informed to the candidates on the day of entrance exam. The candidate will have to ensure their availability as per the interview schedule given to them and adhere to the deadlines of submission of SAT score (if applicable) in the application form. All candidates are advised to visit the website on regular basis for updates regarding the details. The personal interview date/schedule are subject to change at the discretion of the university.

Eligibility

Master of Arts: M.A in English / Public Policy & Administration / Politics and International Relations / Psychology / Economics / Mass Communication

Master of Commerce

1) Applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline recognized by UGC from any College/University in India

MBA Admissions 2025

Eligibility

1) Candidates who have appeared at Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 conducted by IIMs/Xavier Admission Test (XAT) 2025 conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur /NMAT 2024 conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) are eligible to apply.

2) A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in all semesters/trimesters or equivalent CGPA. 

3)  A candidate appearing for the final year semester examination of bachelor's degree or equivalent can also apply. Such candidates must have to obtain 50% marks or equivalent in aggregate of all the semesters/years.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarships (50% Tuition Fee waiver) available as per university scholarship policy for M.B.A. Students. 
 
Maximum 10 Merit-cum-Means Scholarships are available as per the university scholarship policy for School of Management.

The policy stipulates that family income (from all sources) of the candidate, in previous financial year should not exceed INR 10 Lakhs.

Also to be considered for scholarship process, the candidate should have scored a minimum 85 percentile in CAT/XAT/NMAT applicable for admissions for the session 2025-26.

Merit Scholarships (50% Tuition Fees Waiver)

The Merit scholarship is available as per university scholarship policy for M.B.A. Students as per merit.

There are total of 05 Merit scholarship available. These are pure merit scholarships without any maximum annual income criterion of parents/family. To be eligible for the scholarship, the students are required to fulfill the following criteria:

CAT/XAT/NMAT percentile score should be 85 and above. Five meritorious selected applicants, as per these scores, who are admitted to the MBA Programme (batch 2025-27) after fulfilling all admission eligibility criteria shall be the recipients of this scholarship.
Merit cum Means scholarship will be available for both the years of study.
Eligible students are required to attend classes actively & regularly, should follow School & University discipline norms, and show exemplary behavior during the MBA Programme.

A. 33% – Government Seats (Filled by ACPC)

For the purpose of admission to Gujarat Seats, a candidate has to apply at ACPC as per ACPC norms.

B. 67% – All India Seats (Filled by PDEU)

The admission process will be conducted by PDEU in two Rounds, (1) Early M.Tech. Admissions and (2) Regular M.Tech. Admissions. A candidate seeking admission to All India Seats shall apply online on the University website (www.pdeu.ac.in.) within the prescribed time limit. Admission form filled for Early M.Tech. Admissions will also be considered for Regular M.Tech. Admissions.

Phase 1: 50% Seats (GATE)

Admission is offered to the candidates on merit based on the GATE score

Phase 2: 50% Seats (Non-GATE)

Admission process is meant for Non-GATE candidates and also for the candidates having the valid and qualified GATE score but not offered the admission during Phase - I.

Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics & IT

The Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme, initiated by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, aims to enhance the number of PhDs in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and IT/IT Enabled Services (IT/ITES). This scheme supports both full-time and part-time PhD candidates across various institutions in India.

Key Features of the Scheme:

• Fellowship Support:
• Full-Time PhD Candidates: Receive a monthly fellowship of ₹38,750 for the first two years, increasing to ₹43,750 for the subsequent years, up to a maximum of five years or until PhD completion, whichever is earlier. ​
• Part-Time PhD Candidates: Are provided a one-time incentive of ₹3,00,000 upon successful completion of their PhD. ​

• Additional Benefits:
• Annual Contingency Grant: ₹30,000 per year for full-time candidates to cover research-related expenses.​
• Reimbursement of Rent (RoR): Applicable to full-time candidates not residing in institutional accommodation, with rates varying based on city classification (X, Y, or Z class cities).​
• Support for International Conferences: Up to ₹1,50,000 for full-time candidates to attend international conferences where their research paper is accepted for presentation.

Eligibility

A 1-year/2-semester master's degree programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

Provided that a candidate seeking admission after a 4-year / 8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.

A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) / Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.

Merit Reckoning & Selection Procedure

1) Written Aptitude Test (WAT) shall consist of 50% weightage on research methodology and 50% weightage on subject specific questions. As a part of this, the question paper on Research Methodology will be of 50 marks, each question will carry one mark. Subject wise Entrance Test will be conducted, which consists of 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark.

2) Entrance test shall be qualifying in nature with qualifying marks as 50%, and only such candidates will be eligible to appear at the PI - Personal Interview / Viva Voce. 

3) Admission merit list for the eligible candidates who qualified in the written test and appeared in PI will be based on 30% of Personal Interview (PI) score, and 70% of Entrance Test score.

Scholarships

I. The University offers financial assistance from its own resources as per its availability in the name of scholarship, who would qualify as per the norms specified below on merit basis as follows:

Up to first two years : Rs.25,000/- per month as research scholarship

In the third year : Rs.30,000/- per month as research scholarship 

(Criteria: M.Tech - GATE qualified | M.Sc. - GATE/ NET/ SLET/ CSIR | Management - CAT/ NET/ SLET/ GATE/ CSIR | SLS - NET/ SLET/ GATE/ CSIR)

Maximum 2 no. of such scholarships are allotted in every Department of Engineering, 2 for every department of SLS, and 2 for SPM. 

II. A financial assistance in the form of a Teaching Assistance (T.A.) ship on merit basis is also available for the students who would not be receiving above referred financial assistance: Rs.10,000/- per month. 
 
Maximum 2 no. of T. A. ship are allotted in each department of engineering, 2 for each department of SLS, and 2 for SPM. 

 
III. A financial assistance as sustenance allowance of Rs.6,000/- per month for those who would not be receiving any financial assistance from the above referred categories - I & II, or from any other source.
