IEEE Computer Society
With a central motto of "Empowering Computer Science and Engineering Professionals to Fuel Continued Advancement". Engaging computer engineers, scientists, academia, and industry professionals from all areas of computing, the IEEE Computer Society (CS) sets the standard for the education and engagement that fuels continued global technological advancement. Through conferences, publications, and programs, and by bringing together computer science and engineering leaders at every phase of their career for dialogue, debate, and collaboration, IEEE CS empowers, shapes, and guides the future of not only its members, but the greater industry, enabling new opportunities to better serve our world.
Under the IEEE CS Student Chapter PDEU (Approved and Established: June 2023) we are focusing towards bringing together excellence from industry academia through continuous programs/events like ThinkTech (Podcast Show), TechGurus, regional level events and much more.

The Hacker's Meet-up
Today, cyberspace in India faces many problems, and people are becoming victims of cyber-crime in daily life, which is increasing by 1500 CAGR. The government of India is working rapidly on this issue to bring keen and robust solutions in the future. Still, a significant revolution is not possible without the help of citizens. So it's time to learn and get Secured, Safe, and Stay Protected against Cyber Theft and Cyber Crime, which happen just with a few clicks. India is revolutionized in FinTech Smart city, Smart Grid, Space Technology, Defence system, Telecommunication sector and becoming cashless economy then security is a big concern for Industry. So we are reaching out to individual, company, start up to strengthening their security. “The Hackers Meet up" is a Meet up that features in the calendars of security researchers, hackers and professionals around the nation The event aims to bring together primarily security researchers, hackers, business leaders, and entrepreneurs but also includes practitioners from academia, industry, government organizations as well as students to elaborate and discuss the IT Security challenges that we are facing today and also about the next generation computer security issues. We are doing Meet Ups to provide a proper platform for the cyber security researchers as well as security enthusiasts people who really interested to learn something and take exposure of latest trends and issues in cyber security deep dive into security domain. It is fully focused on Cyber Security research of Independent security researchers, who finds vulnerability, gain knowledge and try to do something out of the box with his/her enthusiasm, hard work and love for security Aim of this Meet up is to share knowledge with others, aware people about the cyber security, meet greet, do networking with fellow like-minded people and establish a community.
ACM-W: Empowering Women's Engagement in Computer Science Research
Driven by the aim to enhance the presence of women in the computing industry, Pandit Deendayal Energy University proudly initiates its ACM-W Student Chapter. ACM-W initiative is intended for women to promote mentorship, create a supportive environment, promote gender diversity, celebrate women’s achievement, and balance the work and the family. This will certainly break the gender gap and shatter the glass ceiling. With mentorship, networking, and skills enhancement, this chapter strives to empower women to achieve their fullest potential. With ACM Women Student Chapter, our students are part of a community that is dedicated to empowering women in computer science and promoting diversity and inclusivity in the technology industry.
Dr. Shilpa Pandey, a faculty member at the School of Technology, PDEU, leads this chapter, comprising a dedicated team of 35 female students from various schools and departments within the institute.
CSI (COMPUTER SOCIETY OF INDIA)
PDEU CSI-Student Branch got inaugurated on 02/09/2017 under the umbrella of CSI-Ahmedabad Chapter and Dr. Ganga Prasad Pandey, Assistant Professor, ICT Department is designated to be First Student Branch Coordinator (SBC). CSI-Ahmedabad Chapter started functioning during 1969 and today it has grown in the area of research and innovation by organizing seminars, conferences, public talks on different subjects, student awareness programs and many more.
CSI Ahmedabad Chapter has received “Best Chapter Award” under region III consecutively since the last seven years, The chapter has constantly tries to improve its performance by organizing various technical and social activities. Today, the Ahmedabad Chapter has more than 500 life members, institutional members and 20 Student Branches with more than 1500 student members Computer Society of India is the recognized Association for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) professionals, attracting a large and active membership from all levels of the industry. A member of the Computer Society of India is the public voice of the ICT profession and the guardian of the professional ethics and standards in the ICT industry. We also work closely with other Industry associations, government bodies and academia to ensure that the benefits of IT advancement ultimately percolate down to every citizen of India.
The mission of the CSI is to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for all categories of IT professionals, while simultaneously inspiring and nurturing new entrants into the industry and helping them to integrate into the IT community. The CSI is also working closely with other industry associations, government bodies and academia to ensure that the benefits of IT advancement ultimately percolate down to every single citizen of India.

ACM (ASSOCIATION FOR COMPUTING MACHINERY) :
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is an international learned society for computing. ACM, the world's largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession. ACM provides the computing field's premier Digital Library and serves its members and the computing profession with leading-edge publications, conferences, and career resources. With nearly 100,000 members from more than 190 countries, ACM works to advance computing as a science and a profession. We have organized 5 different events under ACM student Chapter given below. ACM provides financial assistance for travel expenditure to the students for attending ACM Workshops organized in India and abroad. 2 of our 3rd Year CSE students- Utsav Mehta and Ayush Bhatt got travel allowance from ACM for attending workshop in IIT, Goa.
