About The School
School of Management (formerly School of Petroleum Management) is among Top 100 Management Institutes as per NIRF Rankings. It offers two-year full-time residential MBA programmes in Energy and Infrastructure Management and General Management with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations Management and minor in Business Analytics. In addition, SoM offers Executive MBA for working executives in hybrid mode, Ph.D. programme (full-time and part-time) and Management Development Programmes.
This trimester system MBA programme includes eight weeks of compulsory summer training for the students. It also includes field visits, independent study courses and constant interaction with industry personnel to prepare industry ready professionals. It has Business Analytics Teaching Lab which provides students with knowledge and skills that empower them in tackling business problems using appropriate data analytics.
It boasts of 100% placements for last 4 consecutive years with top notch companies visiting for campus placements.
At SoM, the students go through rigorous classroom training by our highly qualified faculty, supplemented with regular sessions by expert practitioners coming from business and industry. Research
The Business Analytics Teaching Lab @ SoM has been created to provide the SoM students with an environment for learning Business Analytics and Decision Making. Managers in organizations make informed business decisions using information from varied sources for effective analytical outcomes.
