Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), Gandhinagar, and National Forensic Science University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, have joined hands in a new partnership! Signed an MoU on February 19, 2024, to enhance collaborative research, faculty and student exchange, and to make the best use of our combined resources.

According to the latest media update by India TV, "Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director, Mukesh Ambani, who is also the President of Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), addressed the students at the 11th convocation ceremony of the institute and said that energy transition has become the most critical factor in ensuring India&rsquo;s transformation into a global leader in green, sustainable and inclusive development adding PDEU is at the forefront of education and research in this area. Welcoming the chief guest, ISRO Director S Somanath, Mukesh Ambani said, "You are truly an inspiration not just to the students of PDEU, but also to millions of bright young minds across India. ISRO&rsquo;s success with Chandrayan 3 has made every Indian&rsquo;s heart swell with pride. And it has made the world see India as a space superpower. Therefore, there couldn&rsquo;t have been a better person than you to guide and motivate our graduating students as they step into their professional lives."

PDEU awarded with Centre of Excellence Status by Government of Gujarat

Commemorating the establishment of SoM-PDEU, students put together an entertaining lineup of performances at the "Foundation Day" event hosted by the Cultural Committee. The celebrations, in the presence of esteemed faculty members, comprised several energetic dance routines and students showcasing their vocal talent.
The most admirable performance was delivered by our professor Dr. Asit Acharya, who deicated a mellifluous piece to our late student Raghukul Raj Shailesh.
The event continued with rousing instrumental gigs that set the festive mood, and dance sequences had everyone clapping and cheering. In the end, the Core Committee unveiled a series of upcoming events to whip up a fervour. The foundation day concluded with SoM's tradition of cake cutting.

Soon, visitors to Gandhinagar from Ahmedabad would be able to see solar panels floating on water on both sides of Narmada Canel. The Array of 15 Soalr Panels - likely to be produced in Gujarat will generate 3MW of electricity. The project, which has got in-principle nod from the state government, will be carried out by PDEU and GSECL. 
Prof S Sundar Manoharan, director general of PDEU, on December 2 had said during the university&rsquo;s convocation that it has got in-principle approval forr Rs. 26 Cr. project from GSECL.
