Brief description

Dr. Pooja Shah is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She has an academic experience of more than 20 years. She has done her doctoral studies in the field of Oceanography, specifically for oil spill detection from ocean surface from Synthetic Aperture Radar data. She has volunteered as faculty advisor for IEEE-SB for over seven years and is actively involved in student activities. Her area of specialization is computer aided oceanography. Her research interests include Information Security, Digital Image Processing, Digital Forensics and Hardware Software Codesign. She has worked as PI and Co-PI in four major research projects funded by Space Application Center, ISRO. She is currently active in the domain of Image Processing for Medical Applications.
